Gridstone

Gridstone provides PSCore, a mobile apps platform for public safety agencies. It puts back-office data and workflows into Android and iOS apps for phones and tablets, so officers can work in the field rather than return to the station.

What Gridstone offers

• Tasking — manage incidents, view broadcasts and patrol directives, receive alerts and see other units' locations.
• Searching — a single free-text search across various databases for people, vehicles, organisations and locations, with colour-coded risk indicators.
• Event reporting — guided digital forms with multimedia attachments and a protected offline mode.
• Activity logging — user actions during a shift are recorded automatically, with manual records possible.

Who it works with

Police and similar agencies. The apps connect to an agency's dispatch system, so incidents sent from it can be answered and new ones synchronise back. Reports use forms and workflows that the agency defines.
