Gigasource

Gigasource develops custom mobile and web applications, speeding up delivery by reusing modules and components it has built and maintained over several years. Rather than starting each project from scratch, it assembles apps on its own cloud platform, which it says shortens timelines to a few weeks and lowers later upkeep.

What Gigasource offers

• Custom app development — mobile and web apps tailored to a business, with rapid prototyping.
• Digital signage software — cloud tools for sending media and content to large numbers of screens, including a free app for uploading content from phones and laptops.
• Visitor analytics — traffic-tracking software that uses face tracking to report on visitor activity.
• Time tracking — a cloud timesheet system that uses facial recognition to simplify payroll.
• Point of sale — POS systems for retail and for restaurants.
• CRM and social content tools — a customer relationship system and an app that pulls in social media content.

Who it works with

Its testimonials come from a retail solutions company that needed a customised POS, a start-up using face analysis for sales insight, and a fashion retailer that broadcasts information to its stores through custom signage software.
