bCubex

bCubex, run by Cubex Systems Pty Ltd, helps companies use their own data to make better decisions and then builds AI to automate them. Work starts with discovery to find the real problem before code is written, followed by analytics and AI agents built on AWS. Clients deal directly with two senior engineers rather than account managers. Earlier, the firm offered web development, UX and UI design and DevOps to startups using a lean startup approach.

What bCubex offers

• Discovery — finding where a team loses time and whether AI can help.
• Decision analytics — analysis of client data to explain what drives the numbers and what to change.
• Generative AI and agents — AI agents built on AWS through Bedrock, choosing a model per task without tying clients to one provider.
• Software engineering — backend development and DevOps, with business analysis and financial modelling skills.

Who it works with

The firm has worked with startups, entrepreneurs and established businesses. A published case study describes improving the backend for an Australian construction startup.
