Aaltra

Aaltra builds the software side of connected products: the mobile apps, machine display screens and cloud platforms that let people use hardware. The company is based in Belgium and works with clients across Europe, mainly manufacturers and operators that run a lot of physical assets.

What Aaltra offers

• Product definition — working out what users need from a device before anything is built.
• App development — mobile apps for connected products, such as its connected bike work.
• HMI displays — interface software for screens built into machines and equipment.
• IoT platforms — cloud platforms for asset management and device data.
• Diagnostics and rescue — reviewing platforms that have not been adopted or cause repeat support calls.
• Targeted fixes — solving single problems such as unreliable Bluetooth pairing, commissioning flows or offline firmware updates.

Who it works with

Aaltra works with hardware manufacturers, start-ups bringing a connected product to market and asset-heavy operators, and it reaches client sites anywhere in Europe within a day.
