Elva by Theneo

Elva is an API management platform from Theneo, the API documentation company. It scans a codebase to discover every API without needing existing OpenAPI specs, generates OpenAPI 3.1 specifications, and scores each API on design, developer experience, AI readiness, security and performance. Contracts decide which audience gets which endpoints and fields and where they are published, with breaking changes detected automatically, and any API can be turned into a hosted MCP server behind Elva's gateway, authenticated and fully logged. It works with identity providers including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and Auth0, and runs as SaaS, in a private cloud or on premises. There is a free plan (one repository and 1,000 tool calls a month), Startup at $100 a month and Business at $600 a month billed annually, and every plan includes unlimited members.
