ALTOSPAM

ALTOSPAM is a hosted email security service from OKTEY. It sits in front of a company's mail server and screens incoming messages before they arrive. It is aimed at organisations that own at least one domain name.

What ALTOSPAM offers

• Spam filtering — combines sixteen separate anti-spam techniques, tuned to keep false positives low.
• Virus scanning — runs messages through six antivirus engines plus a check for suspicious files.
• Phishing and scam protection — catches fraudulent messages that try to harvest credentials or banking details.
• Anti-relay protection — stops a mail server being misused to send illicit mail.
• Denial-of-service protection — shields mail servers, which are reached only through the service.

Who it works with

It suits small offices, mid-sized firms and large accounts, and works with any email server.
