Graphilm

Graphilm Entertainment is an animation production and distribution company based in Rome, Italy, recognised in the past as Italian Studio of the Year at the Cartoons on the Bay festival. Its catalogue includes titles produced as television shows with accompanying books, games and activities, including a series called Nefertine on the Nile.

According to the company's own site and industry press it cites, Graphilm recently reclaimed full ownership of the studio and its intellectual property, including the McFire Family and Nefertine on the Nile titles, after the liquidation of a French partner company that had previously held a stake. The studio says it is now operating again as a fully independent Italian production house and is continuing work on further seasons of its existing titles.
