Lev

Lev is an open model from Interfaze (JigsawStack, Inc.) that makes decisions, published on 24 September 2026. It answers typed questions about a support ticket, an email or a JSON record by returning a probability for each option, rather than free text.

Main features

• Yes or no questions: returns the likelihood of a yes or a no for a given piece of context.
• Pick-one questions: gives a probability for every listed option in a single pass.
• Scale ratings: rates content on a set scale, with the same probability output.
• Self-hosted use: runs on one GPU, or on a CPU much more slowly, under the Apache 2.0 licence.
• Compatible requests: uses the same request format as TypeSafe's Jev, so code written for its SDK can point at a self-hosted Lev by changing the address.

Customers and markets

Teams that need routing, moderation, triage or intent detection at volume and want to host the model themselves. Some training datasets carry their own terms, including non-commercial licences, which should be reviewed before commercial use.
