Google's "most intelligent workhorse" — half the price of 3.6 Flash, three weeks later.
Gemini 3.7 Flash arrived on 13 August 2026, just three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash, which Google attributes to developer feedback and algorithmic gains rather than a new base model. It posts 43.6% on FrontierCode 1.1 Main against 34.4% for 3.6 Flash, and 65.3% on DeepSWE v1.1 against 49.0% — large jumps on debugging and issue resolution. It launched at an introductory $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 output, roughly half the previous Flash pricing, and powers Gemini Spark for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in over 160 countries. Google's 3.8 Flash announcement later gave its Terminal-Bench 2.1 score as 81.6%.
