Hemmingway-1 is a 27B model with open weights, fine-tuned for everyday writing such as emails, messages, letters and short stories. Its base model is Alibaba's Qwen3.8-27B. The weights are published under the Altworld organisation on Hugging Face, while the site's terms name the Commons Lab, a small lab in Switzerland and South Africa.
