Karen L Dobson, CPA, CGA, principal in the firm, became a professional accountant in 1991 Karen started her career at a medium sized accounting firm Karen has also worked for a large public company for over 11 years as a Corporate Accountant Her responsibilities included the preparation of year end working papers, financial statements, corporate, charity and personal tax returns for the CEO and his various corporate and foundation holdings

Karen has over 15 years’ experience in public practice Originally her practice was in Mississauga but has relocated to Burlington The firms’ client base includes a wide variety of small and medium businesses such as construction, salon and spa, recruiting, landscaping, real estate, consultants, service providers, investments, rental properties and IT

Karen believes that it is important to give back to her community and as such she is currently serves as the Chair of Finance at Wellington Square United Church She also volunteers weekly at the Wellington Square Friday Night Community Dinner
