Jurgens & Co , P A is a certified public accounting firm located in Lewiston, Idaho We provide audit, accounting, tax, and consulting services to a cross section of many different industries and organizations Our goal is to provide quality work for our clients and share the knowledge and insights that we have to offer

We began in 1961 when Dean Jurgens opened a Lewiston office of Morris, Lee & Co The firm grew to over a dozen accountants by the time it merged with Pannell Kerr Forster in 1982 In 1991 Dean Jurgens and Don Schmidt left the national firm and started Jurgens & Co , P A

Dean Jurgens retired in 1998 and Brian Schmidt became an owner in 2004 David Strottmann, CPA merged with the firm at the beginning of 2015 and Don Schmidt retired at the end of 2015 The firm currently has nine certified public accountants

Brian has been with Jurgens & Co , P A since 1996, and became an owner in 2004 He specializes in individual and business taxation, and auditing cooperatives and privately owned businesses Brian graduated from Washington State University in 1996

David has worked in public accounting since 1987 He had his own firm for 17 years and merged his practice with Jurgens & Co , P A in 2015 He specializes in individual and business taxation and serves a wide variety of industries including health care, sawmills, banking, construction and auto dealerships David graduated from the University of Idaho in 1982

Jessica M. Anderson, CPA

Jessica has been with Jurgens & Co , P A since 2000 She specializes in auditing privately owned businesses and also provides accounting and taxation services to individuals and business entities She became a principal in 2015

Kimberly L. Hagestad, CPA

Kim has been with Jurgens & Co , P A since 2000 She specializes in individual and business taxation and auditing cooperatives She serves a multitude of industries including farming, construction, petroleum and health care She became a principal in 2015
