Hammond McNulty LLP is a sole office business service practice, providing accountancy and related financial service products It was first established as a green field operation and has grown to a business approaching 40 team members The growth has been achieved by a combination of expansion of existing services and a continuous effort to develop new services

It traces its origins back to 1957 when Fred Hammond set up operations in Congleton He was joined in 1970 by Bernard McNulty and so Hammond McNulty evolved Sadly Fred Hammond died in 1980 but his name was kept as a mark of respect Peter McNulty was appointed in July 1997 and Marie Shenton joined in July 2000 Since then Colin Higginson, Amanda Grint and Danielle Sullivan have become partners

Since its establishment, the practice has developed into a well respected independent provider of business services, Its forward-thinking culture and willingness to change has resulted in the practice growth and with recent additions to the team, Hammond McNulty is well placed to look to the future with the confidence that it can assist in all its client business needs The firm maintains strong links with other professionals in the area

Over the years, the practice has gone from strength to strength to become one of the leading accountancy practices in the area and credits its success to quality services and forward thinking The firm prides itself on its professional team

Currently, there are five partners, a consultant, plus additional highly trained team members whose qualifications include the Chartered Institute of Taxation Partners are responsible for winning work and managing client relationships in their portfolio
