A little about Margaret

Margaret is from the small town of Lynn Haven, Florida and earned an Associates Degree in Computer Science at Gulf Coast Community College and then moved to attend the University of West Florida where she got a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and minored in Math After graduation, Margaret moved to the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area where she worked as an actuarial programmer for almost 30 years In 1999, when her husband's job was transferred to Broomfield, they moved to Longmont, CO with their young son

While still programming, Margaret started doing bookkeeping She did bookkeeping for both for-profit and non-profit businesses Because of her love of numbers and helping people get and stay organized, in July 2016, Margaret decided to do bookkeeping full time and started Brookside Bookkeeping Services

Margaret enjoys snow skiing, hiking, bicycling, playing piano, scrapbooking and is an animal lover She has two therapy dogs, Maggie and Dante, and had two previous therapy dogs (Jake and Tillie) Margaret and Maggie visit at LifeCare of Longmont and the #BoulderStrong Resource Center created to help the victims of the shooting at King Soopers on March 22, 2021 She and Dante visit at Longs Peak Hospital visiting the staff, patients, and visitors to the hospital
