Impossible Cloud is a Hamburg-based company, founded in 2021 and privately owned by its co-founders, that sells S3-compatible object storage with a partner-led sales model. It describes the service as European, with data residency options and infrastructure engineered in Germany.
The core product is S3 object storage with no minimum file size or minimum storage duration, assisted data migration and no charges for egress or API calls. Data is stored in data centres the company describes as ISO-certified, located in Germany and other European regions, and buyers can select a storage region and keep data replicas within a chosen country. A web storage console and a separate management console are provided. The company also lists newer products, serverless inference and bare metal GPU servers, available in the same regions as its storage.
Two purchase routes are shown. According to its pricing page in October 2026, pay-as-you-go storage is €7.99 per terabyte per month, billed monthly on demand. A reserved capacity plan, sold through partners, offers a discounted price for one, three or five-year commitments starting at 25 TB.
