OpaVote

OpaVote is an online service for running elections, with a particular focus on ranked choice voting. The election manager supplies voter email addresses, and the service sends each voter a secure single-use link.

What OpaVote offers

• Online elections — secure links ensure that only authorised voters take part, once each.
• Online polls — public polls anyone can vote on, shared by website, email or social media.
• Automated ballot counts — counts ranked ballots collected elsewhere, such as paper ballots.
• Reminder emails — can be sent during the voting period to improve turnout.
• Result options — results can stay private or be published online, and ballots can be downloaded for recounts.

Who it works with

Homeowner associations, companies, schools, universities and colleges, political parties and unions, for choosing committees, representatives and board members.
