The Green Revolution must be supported with materials developed using cleaner, more sustainable mining and manufacturing
The Round Top Heavy Rare Earth, Lithium, and Critical Minerals Project in West Texas hosts a wide range of critical heavy rare earth elements (REEs) and high-tech metals (including battery grade lithium, gallium, zirconium, hafnium and beryllium)
Due to the straight forward mining process and sustainably focused power generation, Round Top will be one of the lowest-cost rare earth and lithium producers in the world With a 100% renewable energy plan and an onsite solar plant, USARE will be producing materials for clean, green, renewable applications, using a process that employs clean, green, renewable power — without harming the environment or surrounding communities
The Round Top project is under State of Texas permitting jurisdiction, which is fully delegated under the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts The project has bipartisan political support in Texas and Congress
The area surrounding Round Top is semi-arid, sparsely populated, and contains rock that is amenable to environmentally benign, economically efficient heap leach extraction The leach solution will be pumped to a processing facility that uses a combination of membranes and continuous ion exchange/continuous ion chromatography (CIX-CIC) to separate and purify the various metal compounds
Currently our processing optimizes the separation of individual, high purity rare earth compounds from Round Top feedstock, as well as from third-party feedstock, at its facility in Colorado USARE plans to scale-up processing facilities to meet the forecasted demand growth from our own downstream processing as well as outside customers
Demand for rare earth magnets is being driven by electric vehicles (electric motors and batteries), windmills (direct drive generators), medical devices (personal “vital signs” monitors and medical imaging machines), smart phones, and aerospace/defense applications, where high-performance in extreme conditions is important
To help meet this demand and complete its entirely domestic mine-to-magnet supply chain, USARE has acquired neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) permanent magnet manufacturing equipment With this equipment, USARE will be able to produce 2,000 tonnes of high performance magnets per year that sell for approximately 50% more than standard NdFeB magnets Once recommissioned, USARE's plant will be the only sintered neo magnet manufacturing facility in the Americas
A different approach, using 100% renewable energy and environmentally friendly mining

Our Texas mineral deposit hosts a wide range of critical heavy rare earth elements (REEs) and high-tech metals, including lithium, gallium, zirconium, hafnium, and beryllium – materials required for electric vehicles, wind turbines, solar panels, chipsets and semiconductors, consumer electronics, medical equipment, and critical defense applications Round Top contains 13 of the 35 minerals deemed “critical” by the Department of the Interior The deposit is well-located to serve the significant US internal demand, and more than 80% of the revenues will be used directly in green or renewable energy technologies USARE’s processing facility is also successfully testing third-party materials, and we anticipate the ability to extend our supply chain beyond the Round Top project
