Televenture

Televenture is an Oslo-based venture capital firm founded in 1993 by Rune Rinnan. Between 1993 and 2010 it managed eight funds for Telenor Venture, and in 2010 it established Norsk Innovasjonskapital together with technology transfer office partners in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. The firm now manages four Norsk Innovasjonskapital funds, with a stated focus on industrials, software, oil and gas, marine and consumer sectors. Its team combines venture capital experience with broader industry backgrounds, including entrepreneurs, former senior business leaders and people with international operating experience in the United States, Asia and the Middle East, with particular expertise in oil and gas, energy, IT and telecoms. Rune Rinnan was previously chief executive and managing partner of several Telenor Venture funds between 1993 and 2010, and earlier senior vice president and chief financial officer of ABB Oil & Gas and ABB Signal.
