Search Fund Accelerator, known as SFA, runs a programme for people who want to buy and run a company. It describes itself as the first accelerator of its kind in the search fund world. A new group of searchers joins each summer.

What Search Fund Accelerator offers

• Annual cohorts: a new intake of searchers starts every summer; the 2024 group was the tenth.
• Coaching and advice: experienced professionals and outside advisors guide searchers and CEOs.
• Shared working environment: searchers work alongside one another and use the firm's methods and tools.
• Acquisition equity: once a searcher is ready to close a deal, the equity comes from a fund of committed capital.
• Post-deal support: searchers who buy a business lead it as equity-owning CEOs, with continued help from the SFA team.

Who it serves

The programme is aimed at people with the drive, skill and character to acquire and run a business. Searchers come from a wide mix of professional and educational backgrounds.
