About Purple Angel

Purple Angel is an angel investor group. Several retired former staff of Bell Northern Research set it up in early 2001. The name comes from the purple in that company's logo.

It is an informal group held together by its members' relationships and experience. The whole group reviews prospects, and a smaller subgroup works closely with each company. Each member then makes an individual investment decision, as is common among organised angel groups.
