  • Submit a Business Plan Purple Angel was formed in early 2001 by several retired alumni of Bell Northern Research (BNR) Adopting the purple of BNR's logo led to a quick decision on the naming of the group Purple Angel is an informal group bound together by the relationships and experience of our members Prospective investments are reviewed collectively by the group, led by a smaller subgroup working in detail with the company Investment decisions are individual, as is the custom with many organized angel groups To date we have invested in 29 companies, all but two in the National Capital Region
