Orion Startups

Orion Startups is a startup accelerator based in Orion Technology Park, a science and technology campus in Latin America. It works with small founding teams and puts them through a programme run by a dedicated management team.

Products and services

• Idea validation: helps founders test the gaps in their concept, market fit and business model, and decide next steps.
• Network access: introductions to investors, mentors, scholars, alumni of earlier batches and government contacts.
• Talent matching: a curated list of people looking to join early ventures.
• Acceleration programme: structured guidance built around programme management, run in batches.
• Equity investment: a small stake taken in each startup, partly as cash and partly as the programme itself.
• Workspace: office space at the technology park where the accelerator sits.

Customers and markets

The accelerator focuses on multidisciplinary, technology-based, purpose-driven companies. Its three core areas are biotechnology, software with artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. Founders from other countries have taken part, and alumni describe the programme in English and Spanish.
