About Freestyle VC

Freestyle VC is a venture capital firm co-founded in 2010 that focuses on seed-stage investment rounds. Its partners are themselves former founders: one co-founded Spinner, later acquired by AOL, and Crackle, later acquired by Sony; another founded WeddingChannel.com and Bella Pictures, both of which were acquired, and was an early investor in Discord; a third previously worked as a general partner at Kindred Capital and a principal at RRE Ventures with a focus on artificial intelligence; and a fourth helped build Spinner in 1997 before later companies including ExactTarget, acquired by Salesforce, and Virta Health. The firm says it looks for founders building category-defining companies, and cites GiftHealth, a digital pharmacy business, among the companies it backs.
