Founded in 1994, FIT supports the creation and development of new businesses in the canton of Vaud and in Western Switzerland.

The two types of financial support, FIT TECH and FIT DIGITAL, are respectively open to innovative technological start-ups and digital start-ups with an innovative business model and strong growth potential In 2022, FIT supported 44 projects for a total amount of 6 56 million Swiss francs

Nu Glass and Consulto.ch get support from FIT

Nu Glass offers a solution to improve indoor wireless connectivity by making windows of trains and buildings transparent to mobile phone frequencies Consulto ch is a platform aiming to bring holistic and personalised care to patients with complex health conditions Both are spun out of EPFL and have received support from the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT): a Tech Seed loan for Nu Glass and a FIT-Innogrant for Consulto ch
