Batshit Crazy Ventures

Batshit Crazy Ventures, known as BCV, is an early-stage venture capital firm based in Boulder, Colorado. The firm says its attention lies with the earliest startup stages, working mainly with companies that are pre-revenue and pre-seed, and states that it does not restrict itself to particular verticals or geographic regions. BCV was founded by Dane, who holds a degree in biological sciences from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder, and who previously worked at Foundry Group sourcing startups and managing deal flow before starting BCV and FG Press. Alex, a designer, marketer, author and consumer advocate formerly with Crispin Porter + Bogusky, is also involved, taking an active role in sourcing, funding and supporting the firm's portfolio companies.
