Easy Acquisition

Easy Acquisition is Marposs's basic measuring and statistical process control package, running inside Microsoft Excel. It suits simple manual measuring jobs where users read values by hand or with a limited sampling rate.

What Easy Acquisition offers

• Data collection — reads values from Marposs display units, interface units, wireless gauges and third-party serial devices.
• Tolerance display — shows measurements with their tolerance values and status.
• Basic SPC — histogram, sample value chart and X and R charts in numeric and graphical form.
• Calibration and formulas — a formula wizard defines the measurement and its sensors.
• Reporting — prints collected data and SPC results, and input and output signals can start or stop acquisition.

Who it works with

Shops that need simple collection and elementary statistics rather than deep analysis. Users can write their own VBA macros.
