Devborn

Devborn places technology and product professionals from Argentina and Uruguay with companies that need extra hands on software projects. It works through two models, staff augmentation and staff-to-hire, and takes on the running of multiple consultants for its clients. Before moving into staffing, it described itself as a digital agency and listed e-commerce projects in health and beauty.

What Devborn offers

• Staff augmentation — stable remote teams of developers, designers, QA testers and project managers working alongside a client's staff.
• Staff-to-hire — placements that can turn into permanent roles with the client.
• Fractional leadership — part-time senior technical leadership when needed.
• Project planning — roadmapping and planning support as part of its technical work.

Who it works with

Devborn says its developers are used to start-up settings and need little onboarding; one engineer describes a placement with a New York start-up. Earlier project work covered health and beauty e-commerce and gut microbiome testing.
