RecyclerGuard

RecyclerGuard is software and hardware for recycling centres and scrap yards. Created in 2001, it helps yards document each purchase of scrap metal and meet state laws on those sales.

What RecyclerGuard offers

• Transaction recording — logs each purchase of scrap and nonferrous material.
• Identity capture — a licence scanner, signature capture, customer photo and fingerprint reader.
• Scale pictures — photos of the material on the scale, kept for later retrieval.
• Law enforcement reporting — transaction data can be uploaded where local rules require it.
• Payments and tickets — pay by cheque, cash or ATM, with tickets printed to the office.
