Eastside Neighborhood Employment Center

Eastside Neighborhood Employment Center, known as ENEC, is a community workforce centre in Pittsburgh. It is a project of the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation and supports lower-income residents of the East End who are looking for work or facing money worries.

What Eastside Neighborhood Employment Center does

• Job readiness training: workforce skills sessions for people preparing to work.
• Career counselling and placement: help finding and keeping employment.
• Computer access: use of computers and the internet for applications, plus copy and fax services.
• Employer contact: on-site interviews and job fairs.

Who it works with

The centre's services are open to anyone aged 16 or over, and it focuses on residents of the East End and Allegheny County. It also brings together employers and social support agencies.
