Dental Professionals

Dental offices that need an extra pair of hands, and dental workers who want flexible shifts, are brought together by Dental Professionals, a staffing agency working from offices in Bellevue, Washington, and Portland, Oregon.

Staffing for dental practices

The agency provides temporary dental staffing on an as-needed basis. It says it can help whatever the size of a team, the length of a need or the timeline involved. Alongside cover, it helps employers find permanent hires for open roles, so a practice that starts with a temporary worker can move to a direct hire if the fit is right.

Work for dental professionals

For workers, it offers temporary positions that suit their lifestyle: people can take an occasional shift between jobs or look for something more lasting. The agency says its first priority, whether the assignment is temporary or a direct hire, is getting a worker onboarded, placed and paid quickly and easily. Jobs can be searched in an online database of available positions.

Portal and mobile app

The agency runs two digital tools:

• A client self-service portal, where an employer can check the status of its job orders, see who is coming to work, and approve electronic timesheets submitted by workers.
• An employee app, built with Arrived Workforce Connections, where workers can find and apply for shifts, manage their own schedule and submit their time electronically.

Availability

The office is open on weekdays from early morning, with a shorter day on Friday, and it takes text messages outside office hours, including on weekends. That matters to practices that find themselves short-staffed at the end of the week.

Dental Professionals supplies temporary dental staff to practices whenever they need them and also helps offices recruit permanent employees. Workers can pick up occasional shifts or look for a lasting role, with the aim of getting them onboarded, placed and paid quickly.
