Canstaff

Canstaff is an employment agency in Ontario that supplies businesses with workers from its pool of screened candidates. Founded in 2005 by Mahadeo Sankar, a newcomer to Canada, it was set up both to help new arrivals find work and settle into Canadian workplaces, and to place them with employers that follow the rules.

What Canstaff offers

• Temporary staffing: workers for short-term needs and seasonal peaks.
• Project-based staff: professionals placed for the length of a project.
• Permanent placement: hiring for long-term roles, including temp-to-permanent arrangements.
• Job seeker support: a list of open positions and resume review for candidates, with help for newcomers entering the workforce.

Customers and markets

It serves employers across Ontario that need staff for a wide range of positions, and job seekers, particularly people new to Canada.
