CALIENT Technologies Inc.

CALIENT Technologies Inc. designs and manufactures optical circuit switches that move light between fibres without converting it to electrical signals. Its S320 model is a compact all-optical switch that makes, monitors and changes connections between single-mode fibres.

What CALIENT offers

• S320 optical circuit switch — 320 ports, fully non-blocking, and independent of data speed and protocol.
• Data centre optimisation — helps operators use compute resources more fully.
• Network edge switching — supports multi-layer optimisation and SD-WAN for metro and service providers.
• Test automation — optical switching for lab and test environments.

Who it works with

Data centre operators, metro network providers, telecom service providers, cloud computing firms and government users.
