AI Observability by OpenObserve
OpenTelemetry-native tracing, cost and evaluation for AI agents and LLM calls.
About this launch
OpenObserve's AI Observability treats every model call as an OpenTelemetry span carrying the prompt, the response, model parameters, token counts, computed cost and any errors, so agent behaviour can be traced with the same instrumentation a team already uses for the rest of its systems. It tracks token consumption, cost per operation, error rates and latency, and accepts traces from LangChain, LlamaIndex and any OpenTelemetry-instrumented framework without rewriting existing instrumentation. OpenObserve is an open-source observability platform; this launch extends it to AI workloads. It is a separate event from the company's earlier Series A and platform announcement in April.
