Exodus for Google Cloud Run

Free tool from elim.io that works with a coding agent to audit an app, compare its current hosting bill with Google Cloud Run, list the changes needed and move it there step by step.

Launched 2026-10-14

About this launch

Exodus is a free tool from elim.io for moving applications to Google Cloud Run with the help of a coding agent. A developer hands the agent one prompt, and the agent runs the Exodus command-line tool in the project's folder: it reads the manifests and code, asks questions, and sends its findings to Exodus, which the maker says receives findings rather than source code. The result is a report that lists what must change before the move, such as a worker waiting on a Redis queue, timers in a clock process or uploads written to local disk, with the Google Cloud service that replaces each one, and compares the current monthly bill with an estimate at Google's list prices. Exodus then guides the migration step by step. It covers apps hosted on Heroku, Railway, Render, Fly.io, Vercel or a company's own server, and can also design the Cloud Run architecture and launch bill for an app that is still only an idea. The web app is free, the command-line tool is open source under the Apache 2.0 licence, and customers pay Google directly for what they run on Cloud Run. Exodus launched on Product Hunt on 14 October 2026.

Not yet independently verified: The launch date rests on the maker's Product Hunt launch of 14 October 2026. The cost comparison shown on its site is the maker's own sample and was not independently checked. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
