Gradon

AI partner for architecture, engineering and construction firms that works inside the firm's own CAD and analysis tools and returns drawings, calculations and reports for an engineer to approve.

Launched 2026-10-13

About this launch

Gradon is an AI partner for architecture, engineering and construction firms, presented on the Y Combinator launch page on 13 October 2026. An engineer messages it, by typing, by voice or by sharing a screen, and it does the work in the software the firm already uses. The site names the company as Aisle Technologies Inc. and does not state where it is based.

## What it does

The work covers CAD design, calculations, reports and full plan sets across civil, structural, MEP and architecture. The site lists tools such as Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000 and Tekla, document systems such as Bluebeam, Procore and SharePoint, and public data sources such as FEMA and USGS. Before it starts on projects, Gradon builds what the company calls a firm brain, which learns the firm's past work, standards and details so output follows the way the team already works. The firm brain is stored in Gradon's cloud so the whole team can use it, and the site says customer data is never used for training. Engineers stay in charge: every deliverable goes back for review, nothing changes until an engineer approves it, and the site states that output needs review by a licensed professional before release. The company claims firms using it cut average project time by more than 75 percent, which is its own figure.

## Who it is for

It is aimed at engineering and design firms that want drawing, checking and reporting work moved off their staff without changing software. The founders, Nour as chief executive and Yousef as chief technology officer, handle onboarding in person at the firm.

## Key facts

- **Maker:** Gradon, a Y Combinator F26 company; its site names Aisle Technologies Inc. - **Pricing:** none published; access is by request and an intro call, followed by a paid pilot on one real project - **Onboarding:** in person at the firm's office, with at least one week of on-site support, then a dedicated Slack channel - **Disciplines:** civil, structural, MEP and architecture, among others listed on the site - **Questions to ask:** what the pilot costs, which file formats and versions are supported, and where each firm's brain data is held

Not yet independently verified: The launch date rests on the company's own Y Combinator launch post of 13 October 2026. The 75 percent time saving is the maker's own claim and was not independently checked. The maker publishes no price and offers a paid pilot on request. No independent report was found. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
