Maritime

Maritime is a managed cloud for running AI agents, made by a company in the Y Combinator Fall 2026 batch in San Francisco and presented by its founders Maria Gorskikh and Aryaman Shrivastava. Each agent runs in its own isolated, persistent virtual machine, which keeps its files, memory, installed software and logins between tasks and sleeps when idle. The company says the machines are Firecracker micro-VMs. Besides agents it offers computers: Linux desktops, Windows desktops and virtual Android phones, which an agent can drive over MCP while its own code stays on the customer's backend. The platform works with agent frameworks and custom Docker containers, with cron and webhook triggers that wake a sleeping agent. Pricing is flat per machine with no metering of messages or tokens. The Free plan costs $0 for 3 machines with 1 awake, Starter $20 a month for 20 with 5 awake, Growth $100 for 100 with 25, and Scale $500 for 500 with 60; Enterprise is priced on request. Extra machines cost $1.50, $1.25 and $1.00 a month on the first three paid plans. Computers need a paid plan. The claims about running millions of agents are the company's own. A buyer should ask about data location and how isolation is audited.
