Sodabase

Monitors Supabase tables for stale, renamed or wrongly changing data and explains the cause in Slack; free plan, Pro at $12 and Team at $49 a month.

Launched 2026-10-08

About this launch

Sodabase watches the tables of a Supabase project for data problems that do not crash anything. It learns how often each table normally receives rows, then flags tables that have gone stale, whose columns were renamed or removed, or whose values look wrong, such as duplicated rows or sudden spikes. When something breaks, the agent points to the cron job, edge function or sync behind it, explains the cause in Slack and proposes a fix for the user to approve; automatic fixes are marked as coming soon. It connects through Supabase sign-in with a read-only database role and says it stores monitoring results, not table contents. Its pricing page lists a free plan with 1 project and 5 watched tables, Pro at $12 a month for 3 projects and 25 tables, and Team at $49 a month for 10 projects and 100 tables, with unlimited team members and extra issue analyses at $0.65 each. The operator is named only as Soda. The maker presented it on Hacker News on 8 October 2026. Buyers should check what the read-only role can see and how much of the fix workflow is available yet.

Not yet independently verified: The launch date rests on the maker’s own Show HN post of 8 October 2026, and its own page says the product launched that day. Every detail comes from the maker’s own site; the operator is named only as Soda, with no location, and no independent report was found. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
