About this launch
Pitchfire for Startups, launched on 17 September 2026, turns a product Pitchfire built for investors around to face founders. The company spent the previous year building AI associates that read inbound pitches for venture firms; this side reads a founder's deck instead, researches the company, and scores it against thousands of firms' stated theses, portfolios and investment criteria. The matches come back ranked with the reason for each — a thesis that fits but cheque sizes below the ask, a fund that has already backed two direct competitors, a firm that usually leads only at a later stage — including the ones rated a poor fit. Pitchfire then writes and sends the introduction itself to the top matches, and shares the founder's contact details only with the investors who reply that they are interested. Founders who already have their own investor list can upload it, and Pitchfire will make the introduction where it holds contact details for those firms. It is free, and the company states that a signed-up startup is matched and introduced to three investors a day. Pitchfire is listed here under the name of this product rather than the parent service, which is sold to investors.
