VSQRD

VSQRD is a web portal for preclinical studies run between a biotech sponsor and a contract research organisation (CRO), from VSQRD, Inc., a two-founder company. It replaces the email thread that usually carries such a study. Before the study starts, the sponsor writes down what the CRO will deliver: the terms, the study design table and a checklist of files with the columns each file must contain. During the study the CRO keeps the timeline current, posts short updates and registers each animal to its group, and every event emails the other side a link while the data stays in the portal. When files are delivered, the portal checks each upload against the columns the sponsor asked for; a failing file is seen only by the CRO, a passing one goes to the sponsor to accept or send back with a note, nothing is overwritten, and every upload, acceptance and download is logged. A marketplace lets CROs list studies they run at a fixed price so a sponsor can compare offers on turnaround, price and the studies each CRO has delivered through the portal, a record that never names the sponsor. No price is published, and none is recorded here. Its terms, last updated on 15 September 2026, state that it provides software, not laboratory services, and it makes no claim about GLP or 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, which a regulated sponsor would need to establish directly.
