Trusted Shops GmbH

Trusted Shops GmbH runs a European quality mark for online shops. It combines a certification seal, collected customer reviews and a buyer protection scheme, so shoppers can judge a web shop before ordering and retailers can show they take service seriously.

What Trusted Shops GmbH offers

• Quality seal: a certification that shops display after meeting data handling and service standards.
• Customer reviews: ratings gathered from real orders about service, delivery and products.
• Buyer protection: cover for purchases, whatever payment method the shopper used.
• Shop discovery: a directory where shoppers can browse certified online shops.
• Fake shop list: information that helps consumers spot unreliable sites.

Who it works with

Online retailers that want to build confidence among their customers, and consumers who shop online. The stored profile says tens of thousands of retailers use the services, and the German site says a very large number of shops carry the seal.
