About THING TECHNOLOGIES

Marc Gille is the founder of THING TECHNOLOGIES and the father of the Thing-it product.

He was SVP Product Management, SunGard/FIS until 2016, where he was in charge of the company’s integration and business process management technology and strategy.

Marc Gille founded the BPM company CARNOT in 2000, ran it as CEO and sold it to SunGard/FIS in 2006 where the CARNOT Process Engine became Infinity Process Platform which runs at many banks and other financial institutions via SunGard/FIS products.

He also made the code base of CARNOT/Infinity Process Platform one of the largest open-source BPMSs in the market via Eclipse Stardust Project.

Marc Gille has a background in IT and physics and holds a Dr.-Ing. in Information Science from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
