OMBU

OMBU is a web and software development studio that Martin Rio founded in 2009 after driving from Washington D.C. to Portland. It builds content-managed websites, bespoke applications and cloud hosting setups for organisations in many sectors.

Who it works with

The studio says clients come from all industries and sectors. Named examples include the Smithsonian Institute, Car Talk, Nike and Stand for Children. Its work has covered companies entering global markets, charities coordinating volunteers in real time, and utility companies working together to cut carbon emissions. In 2012 it launched a redesigned site for Paramount Pictures.
