Eonix is ​​a UCL university spin-off created in 2007. It is active in data acquisition and management. In this context, it has developed various products and services based on two completely innovative software architectures intended for mass data management applications on the one hand and server management on the other. These have been used in the development of several products in the medical, indoor geolocation and educational fields.
 
The company was founded by Aloys du Bois d'Aische and Bruno Juste, the two main partners, and Professors Macq and Gala. Professor Macq is head of the telecommunications laboratory at the UCL polytechnic faculty and pro-rector of the university. Professor Gala is a doctor, professor in the faculty of medicine and colonel in the Belgian army. Bruno Juste is a computer and management engineer from the Polytechnic Faculty of Mons and has acquired a long experience in the field of data management in private companies, of which he became Chief Technical Officer. Aloys du Bois d'Aische is an electronics engineer from the Polytechnic Faculty of Leuven and completed a doctoral thesis in medical image processing between Harvard Medical School, Vanderbilt University and UCL. He then completed an MBA. Since its creation, the company has also had several outside advisers from major Belgian companies who help and advise when questions arise.
 
All of the shares belong to the founders, which guarantees its independence.
 
Eonix has established itself in the Walloon Region and is very involved in the transfer of research technologies to businesses. Eonix was the first company to be admitted to the Microsoft Innovation Center in Mons, an incubator dedicated to the development of technology companies in partnership with Microsoft.
 
Eonix has made a profit every year since its creation and transformed into a SA in 2012 in order to ensure its long-term sustainability with its customers and to increase its visibility.
 
In 2017, the company was audited and certified ISO 9001: 2015. In 2018, a first hearing will take place for ISO 27001 certification.
