Pilgrim Beart, the CEO, has a passion to change the world for the better, with 30 years’ experience leading innovation in groundbreaking, high-tech companies and working at the cutting edge of IoT innovation throughout his career. In 2006, he co-founded AlertMe, later purchased by British Gas as the basis for their Hive offering.

This first-hand experience of building and scaling a connected product company gave him unique insight into how IoT companies need tools to help they're managing their devices better, like a "Google Analytics for IoT". This led him to build DevicePilot, aiming to make scaling IoT businesses simpler with clear visibility into their device estates.
