Codema

Codema is the energy agency for Dublin. It advises the four Dublin local authorities on cutting energy use and emissions, and works on projects that help the region move to low-carbon energy by 2030 and 2050.

What Codema offers

• Energy planning and policy — master planning, modelling, research and policy work, including an energy master plan for the Dublin region.
• Public sector obligations — help for councils in meeting energy and climate targets, and day-to-day energy management.
• District heating — work with councils on large-scale heat networks supplying homes and businesses.
• Energy performance contracting — projects with the Dublin councils, two already under way with Dublin City Council.
• Public engagement — citizen awareness schemes such as a home energy saving kit and consultation on council climate action plans.
