Angelini Design

ANGELINI DESIGN was born in Bologna in 1980. The first products to bear their signature had a common feature: they were moving objects, a legacy of the two years spent by Lamberto Angelini at the Volkswagen Style Center in Wolfsburg (1979/80) after graduation in mechanical engineering. 1981: The prototype of the Volkswagen Auto 2000 is presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which will give rise to the new version of the Passat. From that precedent, the stimulus to face product design was born, combining the designer's imagination with the method and knowledge acquired from the world of the automobile, finding in the "wheelless" projects the same excitement for the creative moment.

The transversal application of different experiences has often led to a transfer of ideas and technologies in the conception of a new project. The constraints feed the imagination and act as a stimulus to the search for an innovative and characterizing solution that, even before the shape, gives a motivation for the existence of the new product.

Lamberto Angelini and his collaborators, designers, engineers, craftsmen, with different and complementary skills and experiences, form a team that recomposes itself to each project with maximum flexibility to form targeted workgroups to product optimization. Transferring a product consistent with the brand image, its identity and its positioning on the market is the mission of the designer.
