Wickr

Wickr is a secure communication service that now runs as AWS Wickr under Amazon Web Services. It gives organisations encrypted messaging, voice and video calls, file sharing and screen sharing, with administrative controls over how teams communicate. Content is encrypted end to end on a zero-trust design, so only intended recipients can read it and AWS itself cannot.

What Wickr offers

• Encrypted messaging and calls — messages plus voice and video calls with up to 100 participants, on mobile and desktop.
• File and screen sharing — files up to 5GB shared inside the protected environment.
• Federation — lets external partners join conversations while security boundaries hold.
• Resilience — offline message access and low-bandwidth support for difficult conditions, and quick onboarding for crisis response.
• Admin controls — central management of the communication environment.

Who it works with

Wickr is built for executives, security teams, field operators and staff handling sensitive information, including regulated industries and government work.
