StorMagic

StorMagic makes SvSAN, software that pools the storage capacity and memory of a pair of servers into a virtual SAN. This removes the need for a physical storage array. It is aimed at organisations running IT at many scattered locations.

What StorMagic offers

• SvSAN virtual SAN — small hyper-converged clusters built from two servers, with data mirrored between them.
• Central management — one place to deploy and manage anything from a single site to thousands.
• Pre-configured systems — SvSAN is also sold as a ready-built hyper-converged solution through Cisco and Lenovo.
• Channel network — partners around the world supply and support it.

Who it works with

Customers with distributed IT in retail stores, branch offices, factories and warehouses, as well as wind farms, oil rigs and IoT projects. SvSAN fits into existing virtualised environments and removes the need for specialist IT staff at each site.
