SPAMfighter

SPAMfighter is a Denmark-based developer of spam filters for home computers and company mail servers. Its standard tool plugs into Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird and moves unwanted messages into a dedicated spam folder. Filtering relies partly on the user community: when one person marks a new piece of spam, it is blocked for everyone else within seconds.

What SPAMfighter offers

• SPAMfighter Standard — a desktop filter covering every email account on the PC.
• Community blocking — one-click reporting that shares newly spotted spam with the whole user base.
• Block lists — blacklisting of individual senders and entire domains.
• Fraud protection — defences against phishing, identity theft and similar email scams.
• Business products — Exchange Module, Mail Gateway and Hosted Mail Gateway for filtering a company network.
