Sine Engineering Bureau

Sine Engineering Bureau is a product engineering studio. It handles the electronics, mechanical design, software, interface and industrial design that a new product needs to go from idea to reality.

What Sine Engineering Bureau offers

• Electronics design — the electronic hardware inside a product.
• Mechanical design — housings and moving parts, including the physical shape and feel of a device.
• Software development — the code that runs on or alongside the product.
• Product and interface design — how the product looks and how people use it.

Who it works with

The studio says it is drawn to futuristic projects and to people with a clear vision for what they are building.

Key facts

• Example work: a smart home ventilation system that balances fresh air and temperature across a house, and a redesigned casing for a professional chip programmer.
• Approach: treats each product as having three parts, which it calls brain, body and soul.
