OPTiM

Founded in June 2000 and listed on the Prime market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, OPTiM Corporation builds AI and IoT software that it sells to businesses, farms, hospitals, construction firms and local governments. Its own pages describe the aim of becoming a company at the centre of "AX", their term for applying AI across industry, and say that since 2015 it has pursued a "something x IT" approach, pairing AI, IoT, cloud, mobile and robotics with one sector at a time.

Drone spraying and farm data

The agriculture arm runs a smart-farming platform called Agri Buddy. Growers can hire drone and AI-robot work, with experienced pilots, instead of buying equipment and training staff. The company reports that its drone pesticide spraying covered about 32,000 hectares across roughly 130,000 sites in fiscal 2025, as of 8 February 2026. Named services include pinpoint-timing pesticide spraying, drone application of shading and heat-reducing agents, and a seeding service.

Surveying and inspection for civil works

For construction and civil engineering, OPTiM Geo Scan and Civil ReSnap aim to cut the labour in surveying, stake-setting, drawings, volume calculation and infrastructure inspection. The company says it holds the top "VE" rating in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's NETIS technology database.

Hospital paperwork on a hybrid AI set-up

The medical line, OPTiM AI Hospital Suite, covers the creation and management of hospital documents. OPTiM calls its mix of on-premises and cloud AI the first hybrid architecture for hospital generative AI in Japan, based on its own research as of 19 March 2026. It also cites about 80 percent less workload for supported tasks, from a survey at one hospital, and notes that results differ by environment. The group holds a medical device manufacturing registration, obtained in March 2018.

Device management and office automation

Its oldest products come from PC remote support and device management, such as Optimal Remote (2007) and Optimal Biz (2009). They grew into OPTiM Biz and, in October 2025, OPTiM Biz Premium, an integrated service for company IT teams covering SaaS, IDs, devices and internal support. The firm says its mobile device management has led the Japanese market for more than 15 years in a row, citing research-firm reports. Office tools use AI-OCR and large language models to read and file documents and contracts, including electronic bookkeeping.

Municipal apps for residents

A communication line offers AI customer-service tools and an official "super app" that brings town-hall procedures and daily services into one app and ID. Service began in March 2026 in Hashikami Town, Aomori Prefecture.
